Photography has always been a part of my life. My mother is also a photographer, so I was 'exposed' to the art form at an early age, and have enjoyed it for the last 20 years. I am fortunate to have a passion I enjoy in both my personal and professional life.
In 2003, I experienced “The Moment”. I was standing on a breathtaking beach in French Polynesia, with my new husband (who wandered somewhere close by as he patiently waited for me to take yet another photo). I wanted to remember that moment FOREVER. I didn’t just want to capture the beauty of the islands, which abounds, but also to preserve the emotion and the memories of that time in my life.
Once we returned from the islands, I decided I wanted to be able to capture those moments for other people. Time is fleeting. Even those not-so-precious-at-the-time moments will be cherished one day. So, I decided to shift my career goals and concentrate on photography.
Over the years, I have developed a photo-journalistic style. I prefer to work in outdoor locations, as Nature provides the best backdrops! I love working with people, and am glad that photography allows me to capture images you will treasure for the rest of your life.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website & blogs! I am excited to be able to share my vision with you. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
